the effects played at central college the day of the last modern life is war show and before leaving town thom and i stopped in to grab a bite to eat. we clapped rosefield rivals at jeff and he looked like he wanted to hit us, so when we left we wrote "half the facts" in the dust of their trailer.

that morning i also won a popcorn machine and a shower radio in a raffle, but central said i couldnt win twice and took the shower radio away from me.

i believe the reason thom was still in town was because of a colonizer/party time! show at the murder room. i think that was the night when thom walked into a room full of high school girls naked. i dont remember what he said, but it was funny.

and yes, they played middle school dances as i was growing up. they did lazer 103.3 butt rock covers. my friends dad filled in on bass for them sometimes. i went to a practice in their studio (really nice place) once, they were working on puddle of mudd "control", and i had a hard time keeping a straight face.

one year a creed cover band won central's battle of bands. central kids are notorious for liking shit music... as most college students really.
