I wouldn't say sucks, but just isn't my thing. I haven't really been into OM since Chris left. This is on a Saturday so I am gonna try and go!
Re: Om, Nov. 17th, 2012
ok. it sucks for me because i was expecting so much. i am not a fan of emil. or holy suns or grails. i like the direction al has gone with adding other instruments and people since chris left. the new album offers nothing new or distinctly different and shows no progression. its not bad but its no different than what theyve done.
im probably more disappointed that theyre still doing sleep without chris and shrinebuilder was a huge BLAH to me.
i hate chicago too. but when i saw om with chris at the empty bottle it was great.

Re: Om, Nov. 17th, 2012
if it was MN i mightve gone too.

I saw this band open for Guttermouth and Nobody's in Minneapolis like 15 years ago. They were awful.

I thought Gebel Barkal and God is Good were great albums even without Chris sucks he left, but without hearing Advaitic Songs I don't know what to think yet
