I believe the building used to be the Woolworth's. Though I've heard of two other locations in the area that also have been claimed to be the Woolworth's. However there is no question it was a drugstore at some point and I remember my mother telling me that it had a bowling alley and a roof top cafe at some point in the 1940s. Now my mother was not the best source when it came to things like this but she did work in the area in the late 40s. So it could have been a completely different place or could have been a Woolco or Katz.
I paid my dues but I lost my Receipt.

Remember when there were only 3 venues to play at/see shows?

The bar staff are fucking cunts- especially the women. $15 drink MINIMUM when using a card. Suck a fat dick, jewbangers.
The sound is shit too.

Unfounded rumor, but I heard the staff there demands and receives free swag from bands. Sounds sketchy.

there are a lot of bars that have a $10 minimum.
the sound when i was there was all subs which was very undesirable for me. at a country twang show. i didnt understand why a bass should sound like an 808 drum but i figured they hadnt been open for long and were working on it.

bands don't get discounts on drinks last I checked and they were asking for three dollars for a can of Hams.
