yeah, i guess cameron just liked the way it sounded. noremac is his name backwards and mccarthy is like that dickwad who feared widespread communist subversion. ive been playing in this lately, but ill be in dubuque with druids sunday... i think he might be playing this as a solo show.

TONIGHT
and I guess the Nightingales can't make it, so they're being replaced by Sleeper Wake Society.

I was pleasantly surprised with Comrades, minus the Jesus thing. Bummed I missed Sea of Trees, but at least they are semi-local.
I talked to the guys from Pianos, they were stand up dudes. You can't honestly be blaming a band for trying to spread the word about themselves and get their record sold. I realize being signed and selling your record on Amazon isn't as punk as a free cd-r, but this band admittedly prefers playing basements to regular venues and booked this tour themselves. I realize you hate this new wave of bands that you feel are shitting on the screamo bands of yesterday, but it's the music you hate, not their ethics.
Also, Metallica.

I assure you it's their ethics I can't get behind. It's all too prepackaged and planned out for my tastes. When your whole online existance is intended to move units... I've been around DIY way too long to be comfortable with a punk band doing that. I just can't brush that shit off like others can. I'd rather hear about what you have to say than hear about what you have to sell.
Fuck it though, do what thou wilt.
