So what did you think about it? We saw these guys with Avail back in the 90's and they totally outshowed Avail. Which if you'd ever seen Avail is a compliment.

Cars Can Be Blue - All The Things We Do

Really fun, garage geek punk rock. They played the Haunted Basement a few weeks ago. Really cool guy n' gal drum/guitar combo. Lots of songs about fucking (the girl is a real nymphomaniac, man, my kind of people) and oddball subject matter like abortions and retards and dating batman. They cover Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is pretty funny. Check it out.
I'm trying to get some Red 40 (pre-Lucero Ben Nichols band). Its real got a real glassjaw feel, wear your heart on your sleeve pop punky stuff with ben nichols on vox) and Dead Low Tide (Moody, Manny, and Willis post-MCD) its real good nautical themed songs that lay out Moody's multiple complexes pretty well. I'm having trouble zipping them up though.

One of my all time favorite bands, def in my top ten. Probably my favorite album of theirs, although I like a lot of their later stuff. I'll never forget when I got the EP-LP, totally blew my mind that punk rock could be so fucking pissed and heavy. I'm really starting to appreciate the awesome taste in music I had when I was 17.
Dood this link doesn't work...can you repost it please?

It is pretty much the best torrent site on the interwebz for punk/hardcore/DIY music.
Do you use torrents?

It's all about what.cd.
Though it may not be the best place for punk or metal specifically, it is easily the best overall music torrent site. Also awesome because it links related artists, so you can go on a spree of downloading stuff that sounds similar to something you're already into. PM me if you want an invite. I think I have three..

Why? It's okay to have a thread with links to free music but it isn't alright to talk about or offer invites to a site for free music?

I agree that What.cd or Waffles.fm are the two best torrent sites for overall content, but they can't match Kray when it comes to punk/hardcore and all the sub-genres of each.

Oh. Why? They are a great way to get music as long as you aren't stupid and get it from a public tracker and stick to private ones.
How do you feel about Usenet? Or IRC? IRC is still where just about every album is leaked first. It is where "The Scene" operates.
