I believe the building used to be the Woolworth's. Though I've heard of two other locations in the area that also have been claimed to be the Woolworth's. However there is no question it was a drugstore at some point and I remember my mother telling me that it had a bowling alley and a roof top cafe at some point in the 1940s. Now my mother was not the best source when it came to things like this but she did work in the area in the late 40s.
