Hi Iowa,

I'm a sociologist from Rutgers University and I'm currently looking for people who were formerly straightedge to take part in one in-depth conversational face-to-face interview with me for a research project. I can meet folks who qualify at a time and place that is convenient for them, and, if that happens a bar or a coffee shop, you just might get a free drink on me.

Interviews touch upon a variety of topics like your life while sXe, your path out, your life now, your participation in hardcore/punk/other, etc. Anything said is strictly confidential and you will never be referred to by your real name in any write-up or presentation (if this sort of thing is important to you).

If you qualify and would like to take part and/or if you know people who themselves qualify, shoot me an email and we can set up a time to meet (I have a car and am very willing to use it). Ill be around your fine state at a to be determined time Saturday - Monday-ish or so.
